Limavady United will play their home fixtures at Coleraine Showgrounds at the start of the season while work is completed on their changing facilities in Limavady.
LIMAVADY United will kick off the new season in Coleraine as they are about to embark on building work that will see the Limavady Showgrounds brought up to code with new Premier Intermediate League (PIL) regulations.
United Chairman Brian Alcorn has told The Northern Constitution that the Roesiders hope the ground-share arrangement at the Coleraine Showgrounds will only be necessary for the opening month of the seasons as the changing facilities in the Rathmore road venue get an overhaul.
Mr Alcorn said: " Coleraine have kindly allowed us to ground share with them at the beginning of next season until the building work at our club is completed. The IFA have given us the green light and Coleraine Showgrounds has been accepted as our temporary home as part of our application to the new Premier Intermediate League until the Limavady Showgrounds are ready."
He continued: "We hope that it will only be for two or three matches as the building work will take roughly four weeks, and we can't start just yet as we have promised the ground to the Milk Cup as we do every summer."
